I went back and forth over whether to purchase this. I have the solid metal 5 inch Gort, very cool, as well as the wind up Gort so I figured...maybe...we'll see.
Let me explain. I wasn't looking to accumulate Gort's...I just saw them over time and liked 'em...so, I got 'em. I do love the 50's sci-fi genre. Reminds me of when I used to watch the "4 o'clock movie" after school in the mid 70's. I now have most of them on DVD. "The Day the Earth Stood Still", "Earth vs The Flying Saucers", just to name a few...can't beat 'em...great stuff!
Well, I bought this Gort. It's BIG! (keep that in mind when thinking of where you're going to put it). Overall...it's growing on me (no pun intended) but, you really have to think about whether you want to spend the money for this one...not to mention the shipping.
