There have been countless KISS action figures/dolls released since 1977, but the best ones were always the original Mego 12 inch dolls. Figures Toy company took the bull by the horns and reissued these dolls, some 30 plus years later. In addition to the original 12 inch size, they've released the 8 inch line we've all been wishing for all these years. The 8 inch figures are just like the the 12 inch figures, only shrunken. I was highly suspect of how these figures would look (the promotional images are terrible and are poor representations of how good these figures actually look). The paint is mostly sharp and clean, however there are a few flaws in a few details but nothing too terrible. Despite the occasional flaw, I'm very impressed with the paint job. The costumes look perfect. In some cases, the materials have changed slightly, but the new materials (when used) seem to be more durable than the original.
